The contract, assigned by the Mexico City Airport Group, is part of the $13 billion project for the air terminal to be operated since 2020.
A consortium led by Mexican construction company ICA on Friday won a contract for the construction of the foundation slab of the terminal building of the new airport of the Mexican capital with an offer of about 7,556 million pesos (405 million pesos dollars).
The contract, assigned by Grupo Aeroportuario de la Ciudad de México (GACM), is part of the $13 billion project for the new air terminal, which is due to start operating in 2020.
It was 16 companies that submitted tenders in the tender.
The Company's shares are listed at 3.25 pesos per title with a change of 14.84% at 13:27 a.m. on the Mexican Stock Exchange (BMV).
